Monday Night Football! What a perfect time to check out a new place for Wi-Fi. Well Jake’s isn’t new to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, but this location on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth is a fairly recent addition to Westside.

Guess it doesn’t matter how long it took me to post a piece on Slaid Cleaves’ show at Fort Worth’s McDavid Studio. Because it seems, when I “discovered” him six or seven years ago, I was already way behind the curve. The folkster recently told a Fort Worth audience that he and a grade school […]

They say that to be a successful blogger you should continue to write and post even if you have nothing to say. Sorry, I have not even had nothing to say. … Been pretty busy at the Dirty Gig, seven days a week, long hours … blah, blah, blah … and I have added […]

When The Dirty Gig is good, it is very good. But when the DG is bad* … Once again PingWi-Fi blogs anew, on the road, because of a disaster. This time it is a man-made event near Washington DC. Enough said. Here’s the good part …

I was in a funk the other day, so I decided to get out and do something different. Otherwise … I might not have gone. Ha … that thought has been replaying in my mind. The event itself was fantastic. For months I have been reading about the coming of a new dog boutique and […]
