You see, today I received some typically crucial information from FaceBook. It seems that one of my friends updated her profile, alerting the world that she had once checked out the music from The Gilmore Girls. Pretty heady stuff – important too, apparently. Because the TuneSocial function sent me an e-mail to keep me abreast of this development.

That is weird in its own right, but it gets better.

I have satellite TV, which leads to channel surfing on steroids, so to speak. A couple of days ago I was squeezing off a few shots on the remote, when luck would have it that I stopped on The Gilmore Girls for the first time in my life, I promise. (Yes, too weird, I know.) The best “joke”: nerd boy said he was going to Google the elderly woman in the scene, and she was appalled, yet secretly aroused.
