“So, how many monks does it take to touch the face of God?”
“Three. Two to hold the prayer flags, and one to up throttle the space shuttle.”
Ha … that makes absolutely no sense … I know. But somehow, I was trying to tie in the space shuttle’s piggy back take off in Fort Worth, with the “men of the cloth” I saw witnessing the event.
So … some men/women climb mountains … and many of them go to the Himalayas to do so. And sometimes the Himalayans marvel at man-made objects. I like it when old world and new world — spiritual and science — get all mixed up and diverse like that.
Other than that, I don’t know what to say about seeing the shuttle. Awesome … this little NASA tease so makes me want to witness a real liftoff. It could happen.
Hmmm … do the space stations have Wi-Fi? Bluetooth? All I know is that the shuttle that landed in Fort Worth was given credit for delivering a new bathroom to the international space station. That my friends, can be even more important than wireless …
I think it begs the question, “What did they do with the old port-a-potty?” Is it still up there? Will it come crashing to earth in a fiery ball of whateva? Will it be spotted in the skies over Rest Area 51?
Know what I sayin?
(Special thanks to Chica Cam for the big shot.)
