Icy Blast Reroutes PingWi-Fi To ????

Well … my next mission is in an icy venue — Philadelphia.  Or is it?  All flights from Cleveland to Philadelphia have been canceled, so it may be back to sunny Texas … or who knows.  Life is an adventure.  And this new gig (supplemental to blogging) has just upped the unknown ante considerably.

The Wi-Fi at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is adequate … actually probably better than that.  I am sitting at the windows, near the curbside drop off — waiting to get travel plans.  So I haven’t even gone through security yet and I am surfing away.  I bet the innermost areas of the terminals have a nice glowing hotspot.  The provider here is AT&T.  I have an AT&T account, but I logged on using my Boingo privileges just to see if the two services were playing nicely together.  No issues.

AT&T/Boingo — working together to make Wi-Fi happen.  Cleveland Rocks!  What can I say — 6 pings.

Last thought … I was trying to call back to the accounting department (da bank).  When I called information for a Texas branch, they gave me several numbers.  I was paperless (no not because I be huggin trees … just unprepared) … anyway … I had to write some numbers on my hand. It is quite a good, professional look — all those numbers on my palm.  I have my line ready for when some wiseacre asks me about it … “It’s my new digital handheld.”

Old school … Know what I sayin?
